Table Tennis Machines

Are you home alone and feel like burning off some energy? Do you want to sharpen your table tennis skills but are tired of folding the table and rallying against the top half of it? Most table tennis players haven't heard of ping pong or table tennis robots. These table tennis robots are often referred to as a ball launcher or ball machine.

Table tennis machiens can help you improve your reaction time, hand eye coordination, quickness and agility for table tennis and other sports, and allow you to play by yourself.

The first table tennis robot was designed over 20 years ago and is equally enjoyed by beginners and experts, males and females and adults and children. The table tennis robot can be compared to a tennis ball machine that serves balls to you from the other side of the net. The table tennis robot is placed in the middle of the table at the opposite end and a net is placed along the sides of the table with a larger net at the end of it, enclosing the whole half of the table in netting to keep the balls on it.

The table tennis machine shoots balls at you from various angles and at various speeds. Some models return balls from 10 mph up to 75 mph and can serve between 10 and 95 balls per minute. Table tennis robots can also hold up to 250 balls before running out, while top of the line robot models recycle the balls sent back to them and run continuously. You can also control the type of shots the table tennis robot sends to you, plus the type of spin on the ball. Most table tennis robots are operated by remote control, so you don't have to interrupt your play when changing settings.

Most table tennis robots come with all of the necessary cables and nets, plus manuals, set up videotapes and a number of balls. Table tennis robots weigh approximately 5-pounds to 17-pounds, and cost between $200 and $3,000. Nets, upgrade kits and other accessories can be purchased separately, and 38mm and 40mm balls can be used. TTmatic, Butterfly and Newgy are three of the top tennis table robot manufacturers.
